With your BoursoBank card, you have assistance and insurance guarantees that protect you during your travels and a ticket cancellation cover.

Our customer service team has gathered the answers of the most frequently asked questions. In a continuous improvement purpose, this page will be continuously updated.

To consult these guarantees, go to the page “Coverages” accessible via the button at the top of your screen. You can also download the Notice of Information describing each of the guarantees as well as their general conditions and exclusions.

The following capitalized words are defined in the Information Notice.

As a BoursoBank Visa ULTIM card holder, you automatically benefit, for your Trips, from a set of assistance and insurance coverages from Chubb European Group SE.

As the insurance contract is taken out by BoursoBank with Chubb European Group SE, it is not possible to modify or terminate the contract, nor to extend the cover.

You are covered during a trip or stay abroad or in France, more than 100 km from the Insured's Residence or usual workplace, with the possibility to travel:

  • During the first 90 consecutive days of the trip, for assistance coverage (medical expenses, repatriation, and personal assistance services). This coverage is provided regardless of whether the trip was booked using the card or not.
  • During the first 180 consecutive days of the trip involving transportation and/or accommodation that was fully or at least 50% paid for with the Insured Card, prior to the date of the occurrence of the Claim, for insurance coverage (cancellation, transportation delay, interruption, personal effects and luggage, civil liability, etc.).

To do this, simply complete the online form on this site (https://bour.so/assurances-voyages).

At the end of your entry, you will immediately receive your insurance certificate by email to the address you have provided. You can also download your insurance certificate directly on the confirmation page following your entry.

You have the option of mentioning up to 5 destinations on your certificate.

All your coverages can be consulted via the button « Coverages » at the top of this page.

To find out the general conditions and exclusions, please refer to the Notice of Information also downloadable on the page « Coverages ».

You have two types of guarantees :

  • For assistance coverages of the Notice of Information Chapter 1 (Medical expenses, repatriation and personal assistance services)

  • The following cumulative conditions apply :

    ✓ Your Insured Card must be valid

    ✓ You must be an Insured

    ✓ Travel or stay Abroad or in France, more than 100km from your Home or your usual place of work, with the possibility to travel  for 90 consecutive days

  • For travel insurance coverages of the Notice of Information Chapter 2 (cancellation, delay of the means of transport, interruption, personal effects and baggage, personal liability, etc.)

  • The following cumulative conditions apply :

    ✓ You must be an Insured

    ✓ Travel or stay Abroad or in France, more than 100km from your Home or your usual place of work, with the possibility to travel to 5 countries including the first destination and a maximum of 180 consecutive days

    ✓ Your means of transport and/or accommodation has been fully paid or at least for 50% with your Insured Card and prior to the date of occurrence of the Claim (event likely to trigger the application of one of the coverages)

The following persons are considered as Insured, whether they travel together or separately during the Insured Trip :

The Insured Card holder and his/her Spouse, or any person who has been living with the Insured under the same roof for at least six months, in the same community of interest as a married couple, and :

- their  Children fiscally dependent, unmarried, and under 25 years old

- their ascendants and descendants holding a disability card with a permanent disability rate of at least 80% (Art. L241-3 of the Code de l'action sociale et des familles) living under the same roof as the Insured Cardholder, under the terms of article 196 A bis of the CGI (persons holding the disability card provided for in article L241-3 of the Code de l'action sociale et des familles) and :

who are fiscally dependent and/or regularly live under the same roof as the Insured Cardholder, or to whom the Insured Cardholder or his/her Spouse pay alimony or child support, enabling them to benefit from a deduction on their income tax return.

Unmarried grandchildren under 25 years of age are covered only when they are staying with their grandparent, Insured Cardholder, and exclusively for the duration of the trip, regardless of their mode of transport.

 

Please consider each of these two situations:

  • If you are injured or become ill abroad and need :

o hospitalization,

o specialized care,

o medical examinations,

o x-rays,

o being repatriated to your home country,

o personal assistance services

You must immediately contact Chubb Assistance by phone at :

+33 (0)1 70 39 12 17 – Choice 1 (24h/7 days)

If you cannot do this yourself, you must arrange for a personal representative (such as your Spouse or Parent) to do it for you. If no one contacts Chubb Assistance, any expenses incurred by the Insured that would not have been incurred if Chubb Assistance had been contacted will be deducted from the Claim.

  • If your claim involves other situations such as :

o Cancellation, modification or interruption of your trip,

o The delay of your means of transport/ a Waiver,

o Your personal belongings and luggage,

o An Accident during transport,

o A vehicle rented during your stay,

o Your Personal Liability abroad,

o Winter Sports

You must notify Chubb European Group SE of the loss immediately, or within 30 days of its occurrence (except in cases of force majeure), by visiting the dedicated reporting website which can be accessed via the button « Notify a Claim » at the top of this page.

A personal representative can make this declaration for the Insured if the latter is unable to do so for himself.

In the instruction of the claim process for assistance or insurance coverages, you will be asked to provide a proof of payment.

Chubb European Group SE does not cover travel :

o   Carried out in the context of a professional activity requiring manual labour ;

o   When the specific purpose of the Insured's trip is to receive medical, dental or cosmetic treatment ;

o   Where the Insured's Doctor has advised against travel or has given a terminal prognosis ;

o   When, at the time of booking (or at the time of commencement of the Period of Insurance, if later), the Insured is informed of any reason that could lead to the cancellation or Interruption of the Trip or any other circumstance that is likely to result in a Claim.

o   Involving travel to areas where, at the time of departure, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs – France Diplomatie has assigned a security status « formally advised against ». If you are not sure if there is a travel warning for your destination, please visit their website at www.diplomatie.gouv.fr

Please refer to the Notice of Information for full details of the exclusions applicable to the various coverages.

  • If you are forced to cancel your trip because you contracted COVID-19 and your medical condition does not allow you to travel, you can use your card’s insurance and assistance coverages.
  • You will be covered in particular if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip, or be repatriated due to your medical condition.

  • On the other hand, coverages will not work when an actual or suspected Communicable Disease results in health restrictions imposed to any travel or accommodation provider by any government or government agency (including, but not limited to, border or airspace closures, lockdowns and other restrictions on the movement of persons).

  • However, if you contracted COVID-19, even during a period of health restrictions, your medical and repatriation expenses will still be covered.

    Domiciliation in France is not a prerequisite for being insured under the contract.

    Domicile is the place where the Insured usually and effectively resides with his family and is declared as his main residence to the tax authorities.

     

    • If, at the time of departure, your destination country or geographical area is classified as “formally advised against” by France Diplomatie, you are not eligible for travel insurance and assistance coverages.

    • If the France Diplomatie status of your country or geographical area of destination changes to the status “formally advised against” by France Diplomatie after departure and you are already there, you are eligible for travel insurance and assistance guarantees. However, in this case, it is essential that you follow the instructions of the French local authorities (diplomatic and consular), especially when it is recommended to leave the country or geographical area in question immediately.

    • If you deliberately decide to travel to a country or geographical area despite the fact that it is classified as “formally advised against” by France Diplomatie, you should be aware that your card’s travel insurance and assistance coverages will not be activated.
    •  

    Excluded activities are all those that are not included in the list of leisure and sports activities in the “Important Information” section of your card notice of information.

    Any consequence of the practice of an excluded activity may not be compensated and/or covered by your assistance and insurance coverages.

    The travel insurance coverages of Notice of Information Chapter 2 (cancellation, delay of the means of transport, interruption, personal effects and baggage, civil liability, etc.) are activated for benefits paid at least for 50% with your BoursoBank card. For benefits paid with a card from another bank, you must declare your claim with the bank issuing this card.

    In all cases, assistance coverages in Notice of Information Chapter 1 (Medical expenses, repatriation and personal assistance services) remain valid, whether or not the booking of your trip was made with your BoursoBank card, provided that your card is active and valid at the time of the claim.

    All the assistance coverages described in Chapter 1 "Chubb Assistance" of the Notice of Information do not apply to the following excluded countries and territories: Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, North Sudan, Venezuela, Crimea, Donbass Region including Luhansk and Donetsk.

    Chubb European Group SE is the subsidiary of an American company and Chubb Limited, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. As a result, it is subject to certain US laws and regulations, in addition to EU, UN and national sanctions, which may prohibit it from providing coverage or paying claims to certain persons or entities or from carrying out certain types of activities related to certain countries.

    To know the territorial extent of the guarantees, please refer to the Notice of Information, downloadable on the page « View my Coverages ».

    Cuba is one of the countries targeted by economic sanctions, as stated in the article « Compliance with Economic and Trade Sanctions » of the Information Notice.

    As such, all the assistance coverages described in the Notice of Information Chapter 1 “Chubb Assistance" cannot apply to this country.

    Therefore, Chubb European Group SE is not able to deliver assistance coverage in Cuba.

    However, subject to the stipulations of the "Compliance with Economic and Commercial Sanctions" clause of the Information Notice, you remain eligible for travel insurance coverages described in the Information of Notice Chapter 2. For this type of cancellation coverages (etc.) Chubb European Group SE will personally compensate you as an Insured on your BoursoBank account.

    If the person accompanying you has the status of Insured, as defined in the “Definitions” section of your card’s Notice of Information, you will be compensated for all costs.

    Accompanying persons are in no case eligible to any coverages if they are not Insured.

    If the person accompanying you is not an Insured, you will only be compensated for the costs in your name.

    When you have to travel with a person who is not an Insured, it is advisable that the latter take out a temporary travel insurance contract or approach his bank to find out if he has such insurance coverages on his own bank card.

    An insurance contract and the use of its coverages must be of a random nature. This excludes any handling of a situation already known at the time of booking the trip, and all its consequences.

    As such, the consequences of any preexisting illness and/or accident that :

    • Has been diagnosed, treated or required hospitalization of the Insured within 6 months of the date of travel,
    • Or, requires regular treatment prescribed by a Doctor on the date of booking the Trip,
    • As well as any heart disease or cancer, diagnosed before the date of travel booking

    Won’t be eligible for coverage under Assistance (Chapter 1 – Section 1 of the Information Notice), and Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance (Chapter 2 – Sections 1 and 3) whose the trigger is only based on the occurrence of a new event affecting the Insured’s health, not known at the time of booking.

     

    Travel cancellation and interruption coverages (Chapter 2 – Sections 1 and 3 of the Information Notice) are extended to situations where the person accompanying you, who is not an Insured, is no longer able to travel.

    Please refer to the list of insured events, affecting the Accompanying Persons, which will enable you to activate your insurance coverage in the relevant section of the Information Notice mentioned above.

    In such situations, you will have the option to continue your trip or cancel/interrupt it.

    The travel insurance coverages in Chapter 2 of the Notice of Information (cancellation, delay of the means of transport, interruption, personal effects and baggage, personal liability, etc.) are activated for benefits paid at least for 50% with your BoursoBank card. Services paid from a payment platform will only be considered as covered when the payment platform debits the account of your ULTIM  BoursoBank.

    In all cases, assistance coverages in Chapter 1 of the Information Notice (Medical expenses, repatriation and personal assistance services) remain valid, whether or not the booking of your trip was made with your BoursoBank card, provided that the latter is active and valid at the time of the claim.

    The minivan is a passenger vehicle, so it is not excluded from insurance coverages (cf. Chapter 2, Section 6).

    The coverage is : any four-wheeled motorized land vehicle registered as a passenger car or light utility vehicle, subject to a rental agreement with a vehicle rental company and paid in full or at least 50% if the rental vehicle constitutes the sole means of transportation for the insured trip, using the Insured Card prior to the occurrence of the Claim.

    Notes:

    • Companies offering peer-to-peer vehicle rental services are not considered companies specialized in vehicle rental.
    • The following vehicles are not covered under the Vehicle Rental guarantee:
      1. The rental of the following vehicles: AC Cobra, ARO, Aston Martin, Audax, Bentley, Berkeley Cars, Briklin, Bugatti, Cadillac, Caterham, Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge (Viper, Stealth), Coste, Daimler, De Lorean, De Tomaso, Donkervoort, Eagle, Excalibur, Ferrari, Geo, Gillet, Ginetta, GMC, Graham Paige, GTM, Holden, Hudson, Hummer, Imola, Infiniti, Intermecanica, Isdera, Jaguar, Jensen, Lamborghini, Lincoln, Lotus, Maserati, Mac Laren, Mikrus, Mopar, Morgan, Mega, Packard, Pierce Arrow, Porsche, Riley Motor Car, Rolls Royce, Stallion, Studebaker, Tucker, TVR, Venturi, Wiesmann, Kit Cars.
      2. Limousine-type vehicles.
      3. Collector vehicles in circulation for more than 20 years.
      4. Collector vehicles whose production was discontinued by the manufacturer more than 10 years ago.
      5. Vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons of authorized empty weight and vehicles with a cargo volume exceeding 8 cubic meters.
      6. Off-road vehicles such as buggies or quads, two- and three-wheeled vehicles, as well as any vehicle not authorized to operate on public roads.
      7. Heavy utility vehicles, motorhomes, and caravans.

    As a BoursoBank METAL Offer card holder, you automatically benefit, for your Trips, from a set of assistance and insurance coverages from Chubb European Group SE.

    As the insurance contract is taken out by BoursoBank with Chubb European Group SE, it is not possible to modify or terminate the contract, nor to extend the cover.

    The coverage is : any four-wheeled motorized land vehicle registered as a passenger car or light utility vehicle, subject to a rental agreement with a vehicle rental company and paid in full or at least 50% if the rental vehicle constitutes the sole means of transportation for the insured trip, using the Insured Card prior to the occurrence of the Claim.

    • Companies offering peer-to-peer vehicle rental services are not considered companies specialized in vehicle rental.
    • The following vehicles are not covered under the Vehicle Rental guarantee:

    As a BoursoBank Visa Premier card holder, you automatically benefit, for your Trips, from a set of assistance and insurance coverages from Chubb European Group SE.

    As the insurance contract is taken out by BoursoBank with Chubb European Group SE, it is not possible to modify or terminate the contract, nor to extend the cover.

    You are covered during a trip or stay abroad or in France, more than 100 km from the Insured's Residence or usual workplace, with the possibility to travel:

    • During the first 90 consecutive days of the trip, for assistance coverage (medical expenses, repatriation, and personal assistance services). This coverage is provided regardless of whether the trip was booked using the card or not.
    • During the first 180 consecutive days of the trip involving transportation and/or accommodation that was fully or at least 50% paid for with the Insured Card, prior to the date of the occurrence of the Claim, for insurance coverage (cancellation, transportation delay, interruption, personal effects and luggage, civil liability, etc.).

    At the end of your entry, you will immediately receive your insurance certificate by email to the address you have provided. You can also download your insurance certificate directly on the confirmation page following your entry.

    You have two types of guarantees :

    • For assistance coverages of the Notice of Information Chapter 1 (Medical expenses, repatriation and personal assistance services)

    • The following cumulative conditions apply :

      ✓ Your Insured Card must be valid

      ✓ You must be an Insured

      ✓ Travel or stay Abroad or in France, more than 100km from your Home or your usual place of work, with the possibility to travel to 5 countries including the first destination and a maximum of 90 consecutive days

    • For travel insurance coverages of the Notice of Information Chapter 2 (cancellation, delay of the means of transport, interruption, personal effects and baggage, personal liability, etc.)

    • The following cumulative conditions apply :

      ✓ You must be an Insured

      ✓ Travel or stay Abroad or in France, more than 100km from your Home or your usual place of work, with the possibility to travel to 5 countries including the first destination and a maximum of 180 consecutive days

      ✓ Your means of transport and/or accommodation has been fully paid or at least for 50% with your Insured Card and prior to the date of occurrence of the Claim (event likely to trigger the application of one of the coverages)

    The following persons are considered as Insured, whether they travel together or separately during the Insured Trip :

    The Insured Card holder and his/her Spouse, or any person who has been living with the Insured under the same roof for at least six months, in the same community of interest as a married couple, and :

    - their Children, unmarried and under 25 years old

    - their ascendants and descendants holding a disability card with a permanent disability rate of at least 80% (Art. L241-3 of the Code de l'action sociale et des familles) living under the same roof as the Insured Cardholder, under the terms of article 196 A bis of the CGI (persons holding the disability card provided for in article L241-3 of the Code de l'action sociale et des familles) and :

    who are fiscally dependent and/or regularly live under the same roof as the Insured Cardholder, or to whom the Insured Cardholder or his/her Spouse pay alimony or child support, enabling them to benefit from a deduction on their income tax return.

    Unmarried grandchildren under 25 years of age are covered only when they are staying with their grandparent, Insured Cardholder, and exclusively for the duration of the trip, regardless of their mode of transport.

     

    Please consider each of these two situations:

    • If you are injured or become ill abroad and need :

    o hospitalization,

    o specialized care,

    o medical examinations,

    o x-rays,

    o being repatriated to your home country,

    o personal assistance services

    You must immediately contact Chubb Assistance by phone at :

    If you cannot do this yourself, you must arrange for a personal representative (such as your Spouse or Parent) to do it for you. If no one contacts Chubb Assistance, any expenses incurred by the Insured that would not have been incurred if Chubb Assistance been contacted will be deducted from the Claim.

    • If your claim involves other situations such as :

    o Cancellation, modification or interruption of your trip,

    o The delay of your means of transport/ a Waiver,

    o Your personal belongings and luggage,

    o An Accident during transport,

    o A vehicle rented during your stay,

    o Your Personal Liability abroad,

    o Winter Sports

    You must notify Chubb European Group SE of the loss immediately, or within 30 days of its occurrence (except in cases of force majeure), by visiting the dedicated reporting website which can be accessed via the button « Notify a Claim » at the top of this page.

    A personal representative can make this declaration for the Insured if the latter is unable to do so for himself.

    Chubb European Group SE does not cover travel :

    o   Carried out in the context of a professional activity requiring manual labor ;

    o   When the specific purpose of the Insured's trip is to receive medical, dental or cosmetic treatment ;

    o   Where the Insured's Doctor has advised against travel or has given a terminal prognosis ;

    o   When, at the time of booking (or at the time of commencement of the Period of Insurance, if later), the Insured is informed of any reason that could lead to the cancellation or Interruption of the Trip or any other circumstance that is likely to result in a Claim.

    o   Involving travel to areas where, at the time of departure, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs – France Diplomatie has assigned a security status « formally advised against ». If you are not sure if there is a travel warning for your destination, please visit their website at www.diplomatie.gouv.fr

    Please refer to the Notice of Information for full details of the exclusions applicable to the various coverages.

     

  • If you are forced to cancel your trip because you contracted COVID-19 and your medical condition does not allow you to travel, you can use your card’s insurance and assistance coverages.
  • You will be covered in particular if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip or be repatriated due to your medical condition.

     

  • On the other hand, coverages will not work when an actual or suspected Communicable Disease results in health restrictions imposed to any travel or accommodation provider by any government or government agency (including, but not limited to, border or airspace closures, lockdowns and other restrictions on the movement of persons).
  • However, if you contracted COVID-19, even during a period of health restrictions, your medical and repatriation expenses will still be covered.

    Domiciliation in France is not a prerequisite for being insured under the contract.

    Domicile is the place where the Insured usually and effectively resides with his family and is declared as his main residence to the tax authorities.

     

    • If, at the time of departure, your destination country or geographical area is classified as “formally advised against” by France Diplomatie, you are not eligible for travel insurance and assistance coverages.

    • If the France Diplomatie status of your country or geographical area of destination changes to the status “formally advised against” by France Diplomatie after departure and you are already there, you are eligible for travel insurance and assistance guarantees. However, in this case, it is essential that you follow the instructions of the French local authorities (diplomatic and consular), especially when it is recommended to leave the country or geographical area in question immediately.

    • If you deliberately decide to travel to a country or geographical area despite the fact that it is classified as “formally advised against” by France Diplomatie, you should be aware that your card’s travel insurance and assistance coverages will not be activated.
    •  

    Excluded activities are all those that are not included in the list of leisure and sports activities in the “Important Information” section of your card notice of information.

    Any consequence of the practice of an excluded activity may not be compensated and/or covered by your assistance and insurance coverages.

    The travel insurance coverages of Notice of Information Chapter 2 (cancellation, delay of the means of transport, interruption, personal effects and baggage, civil liability, etc.) are activated for benefits paid at least for 50% with your BoursoBank card. For benefits paid with a card from another bank, you must declare your claim with the bank issuing this card.

    In all cases, assistance coverages in Notice of Information Chapter 1 (Medical expenses, repatriation and personal assistance services) remain valid, whether or not the booking of your trip was made with your BoursoBank card, provided that your card is active and valid at the time of the claim.

    The assistance services described in this chapter of the Information Notice do not apply to the following excluded countries and territories: Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, North Sudan, Venezuela, Myanmar (Burma), Crimea, Russia, Belorus, the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) region of Ukraine, and the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) region of Ukraine.

    Chubb European Group SE is the subsidiary of an American company and Chubb Limited, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. As a result, it is subject to certain US laws and regulations, in addition to EU, UN and national sanctions, which may prohibit it from providing coverage or paying claims to certain persons or entities or from carrying out certain types of activities related to certain countries.

    To know the territorial extent of the guarantees, please refer to the Notice of Information, downloadable on the page « View my Coverages ».

    Cuba is one of the countries targeted by economic sanctions, as stated in the article « Compliance with Economic and Trade Sanctions » of the Information Notice.

    As such, all the assistance coverages described in the Notice of Information Chapter 1 “Chubb Assistance" cannot apply to this country.

    Therefore, Chubb European Group SE is not able to deliver assistance coverage in Cuba.

    However, subject to the stipulations of the "Compliance with Economic and Commercial Sanctions" clause of the Information Notice, you remain eligible for travel insurance coverages described in the Information of Notice Chapter 2. For this type of cancellation coverages (etc.) Chubb European Group SE will personally compensate you as an Insured on your BoursoBank account.

    If the person accompanying you has the status of Insured, as defined in the “Definitions” section of your card’s Notice of Information, you will be compensated for all costs.

    Accompanying persons are in no case eligible to any coverages if they are not Insured.

    If the person accompanying you is not an Insured, you will only be compensated for the costs in your name.

    When you have to travel with a person who is not an Insured, it is advisable that the latter take out a temporary travel insurance contract or approach his bank to find out if he has such insurance coverages on his own bank card.

    An insurance contract and the use of its coverages must be of a random nature. This excludes any handling of a situation already known at the time of booking the trip, and all its consequences.

    As such, the consequences of any preexisting illness and/or accident that :

    • Has been diagnosed, treated or required hospitalization of the Insured within 6 months of the date of travel,
    • Or, requires regular treatment prescribed by a Doctor on the date of booking the Trip,
    • As well as any heart disease or cancer, diagnosed before the date of travel booking

    Won’t be eligible for coverage under Assistance (Chapter 1 – Section 1 of the Information Notice), and Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance (Chapter 2 – Sections 1 and 3) whose the trigger is only based on the occurrence of a new event affecting the Insured’s health, not known at the time of booking.

     

    Travel cancellation and interruption coverages (Chapter 2 – Sections 1 and 3 of the Information Notice) are extended to situations where the person accompanying you, who is not an Insured, is no longer able to travel.

    Please refer to the list of insured events, affecting the Accompanying Persons, which will enable you to activate your insurance coverage in the relevant section of the Information Notice mentioned above.

    In such situations, you will have the option to continue your trip or cancel/interrupt it.

    The travel insurance coverages in Chapter 2 of the Notice of Information (cancellation, delay of the means of transport, interruption, personal effects and baggage, personal liability, etc.) are activated for benefits paid at least for 50% with your BoursoBank card. Services paid from a payment platform will only be considered as covered when the payment platform debits the account of your Visa Premier  BoursoBank. 

    In all cases, assistance coverages in Chapter 1 of the Information Notice (Medical expenses, repatriation and personal assistance services) remain valid, whether or not the booking of your trip was made with your BoursoBank card, provided that the latter is active and valid at the time of the claim.

    The minivan is a passenger vehicle, so it is not excluded from insurance coverages (cf. Chapter 2, Section 6).

    Ticket cancellation cover

    Tickets fully paid with the Metal Card or on “The Corner”, guaranteeing entry to an Event with a fixed performance or use date.

    Tickets must be for personal use only, must not have been owned by another person, and must not have been purchased from a private individual.

    Please note: Transport tickets are not considered Tickets.

    Event is defined as shows, concerts, leisure parks, cultural events (museums, exhibitions), theatrical performances, festivals, sporting events that take place in your country of residence or in Europe.

    We reimburse the Purchase Price of Tickets up to a maximum of 1,500 euros per calendar year.

    Yes, tickets purchased with the Metal Card for individuals accompanying the Insured to the event are refundable.

    There are many cases covered, including:

    - Death, serious injury or serious illness of insured persons

    - A business trip imposed by your employer when it was not planned.

    - Unforeseen disruption of public transport for more than 3 hours, traffic accident, carrier delay, airplane delay or any other carrier experience while you are en route to the event.

    - Theft of your identity papers if they are essential for travel to or admission to the event, provided that the theft occurred after booking and less than one week before the event.

    - Theft of Tickets if the Ticket(s) is (are) exclusively on a physical medium.

    The following cases are not covered:

    Any Illness or Accident, condition or set of circumstances of which you are aware at the time of Ticket purchase; this does not exclude unforeseeable relapses of Illness or Accident, which have been stable and without change in treatment for at least two months prior to Ticket purchase

    - Any claim for compensation where the service provider or Event organizer offers a voucher or refund.

    - Your refusal or omission to attend the Event.

    - Your inability to attend the Event due to psychiatric illness. 

    - Postponement, cancellation, relocation or abandonment of the Event by the performer, artist, promoters or organizers of the Event.

    - Loss (as opposed to theft) of the Ticket(s).

    - Loss (as opposed to theft) of identity papers.

     - Intentional or reckless misconduct on the part of the Insured.

     - Criminal proceedings against the Insured.

    - Tickets purchased after a government has issued a notice preventing you from attending an Event.

    - Event tickets purchased for business purposes.

    - Failure or delay of public transport caused by industrial action or strike action, which was announced or commenced prior to the purchase of Tickets.

    - Liquidation or bankruptcy of the performer, artist, company promoting or organizing the Event, their agents or any person acting on their behalf.
